Who We Are

Recurve Bow Shop was founded by a Hungarian traditional archery enthusiast with a deep personal connection to the historical roots of mounted archery.

Born and raised in Hungary, I have spent much of my life exploring different countries and cultures across the world, while remaining strongly connected to the traditions of my homeland.

Among Hungary’s many cultural legacies, traditional horseback archery has always held a special place for me.

The mastery of mounted archery was one of the defining strengths of the early Hungarian tribes long before the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin. Their exceptional skill in horseback shooting, speed, precision and tactical mobility made them among the most effective mounted archers of their time.

This extraordinary heritage inspired my lifelong interest in traditional archery.

What began as fascination in childhood gradually became a serious dedication to preserving and sharing this remarkable tradition.
